If You Run A Business, This Wake-Up Call Is For You!
2-minute read
Let me remind you of the following:
-You are in business to be free (time-wise), make a lot of money, help a lot of people, and impact as many lives as possible.
-You are not in business to have the most customers. More customers equal more headaches if they are not the right ones.
-You are not in business just to be busy and say "I am working hard". You need to work smart on the actual things that affect your business the most. Do what you do the best and delegate the rest.
-You are not in business to work longer than what you would work as an employee. Sure, in the beginning, things are tough, but if they keep being tough for the next 5-10 years, it's because you secretly want them to.
-You are not in business to create each year 10+ new products or open 10+ new locations. Maximize results for the first 1-2 and then multiply the system.
-You are not in business to create your own 4-wall office prison. Every hour you spend in your office is an hour away from the people and things you love to do.
-You can't understand your customer behind a desk. You understand him by spending time face-to-face.
-You are not in business to charge the lowest price. Except if you plan to be the next Walmart and your model supports it. Otherwise, go premium and go where the money is.
-You are not in business just to get by and have a better salary than before.
-Your goal is not to be at the beach with your laptop. Your goal is to be at the beach without your laptop. Think about it, because some people take their virtual offices everywhere.
Alex Hormozi wrote the following post one day that hit me like a brick.
"When I was 20, I wished to become a millionaire. I am 27 and I am a multimillionaire, but now, I wish I was 20."
To your success.
Alex.
